I was searching on iTunes one day and came across this band. Thought they looked pretty cool, so I got the CD and absolutely LOVED IT! They’re positive Christian influences, and their songs are really upbeat!
360- 8/10 Loved the song at first, but it starts to get old after they say “It’s a 360 revolution, 360 ’round the sun” about a million times.
Live My Life For You- 9/10 Another song that can get old, but really good lyrics and beat.
What If- 5/10 I’d only listen to this song for the chorus. The verses have good meaning, but they don’t execute very well.
Pray- 10/10 Easily the best song on the CD! As always, good lyrics, and a great meaning. Never gets old.
When I Get to Heaven- 0/10 Pretty much all they talk about having a party when they get to heaven…not too captivating.
Thy Word- 10/10 AMAZING! They take an old song, make it their own, and the song speaks for itself!
This Madness- 7/10 Gets old after about twenty times of listening to it. The chorus is pretty good, but the verses never seem to go as smoothly as the rest.
Footloose- 2/10 Okay. Definitely NOT their best. Never liked older songs…maybe that’s why, but this one didn’t ever stand out to me.
One Word- 8/10 Really good, great lyrics, good song overall.
Someday- 8/10 Loved this one! The song tells a story of hopes and dreams, which we can all relate to. “Someday, someone’s gonna change my life for good, someday isn’t so far away”.
Summertime- 9.5/10 One of the best! I can definitely relate to the the lyrics in this one. “It’s finally here again, this feeling I love…I can’t wait ’til summertime.”
It’s Still Love- 7/10 Solid wrap-up, but it could do without the track.

I just got this CD yesterday, and I already LOVE it! They are really good for their ages (the two girls are 11 and the boy is 14). Much better than some of the other singers that are popular today that are older than them. Some songs are more exciting than others, but overall it’s a good CD. Here are the songs:
1. 360 – This is an OK song, but not one my favorites from them, cause it gets kind of boring. But it is a fun song to jump around and dance to. I like to whip out my air-guitar when I dance to it.

2. Live My Life For You – I really like this song, because it has great lyrics, a sweet message, and a great beat. But, you might be a little bored with it by the time it’s over with. 8/10
3. What If – The best song on the CD!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! It has great lyrics and a great beat. I’m glad I bought this CD just because of this song! Way to go, PureNRG! 100/10
4. Pray – This is another slightly boring one. Not my favorite, but it’s okay. 6/10
5. When I Get To Heaven – I actually really like this song. I think the lyrics are really cute and the message is good. It’s fun to dance to, which I didn’t expect from the title. This is one of my favorite songs of the CD. 9/10
6. Thy Word – I really like this song, because I think it has a great message. I especially like the bridge. This song is slower but you can still sort of dance to it. This is another favorite of mine. 9/10
7. This Madness – I think this song ROCKS! I love it! I find myself singing it all the time. I think it, as with most of the songs on this CD, has a great message. 9/10
8. Footloose – I really like this song! It’s a great “jump-around-and-dance-and-do-air-guitar” song. It’s just a really fun song! It rocks! 9/10
9. One Word – I like this song. It has a neat beat, and the lyrics are good. It’s about love being the one thing that makes the world go round. It seems boring at first, but, it gets better as it goes on. 8/10
10. Someday – I love this song! It is just pure poetry! It’s a really sweet, heart-warming song, about finding your true love. 10/10
11. Summertime – This song is about the season that we all love. The season we countdown to starting in February. (Or at least I do! :-p) Yep. Summer!!! Summertime is a really great song about having fun. And about how it doesn’t really matter what you do in the summer, as long as you’re with good friends. 9/10
12. It’s Still Love – Similar to One Word, It’s Still Love is about how love is the most important thing in the world, and it always has been, and always will be. It has a neat almost-disco beat that’s fun to dance to. It’s a great closer to the CD. 8/10

Okay, here’s the thing. If you like bands such as Jump5 and other bands in that style, you’ll love these guys! They’re like the new Jump5! They’re really good, after just getting this CD yesterday! I also found out that the two girls are only eleven years old!!!!!! They’re all really good singers, and here are my ratings:
360 ~ 100/10 ~ My second favorite song on the CD!
Live My Life For You ~ 9/10 ~ Great song!
What If ~ 10/10 ~ Another really great song!
Pray ~ 1,000/10 ~ MY FAVORITE SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM!!!! THIS IS A GREAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I Get to Heaven ~ 9/10 ~ A fun, dance song, with a great message!
Thy Word ~ 7/10 ~ Sort of boring, but still good.

Footloose ~ 9/10 ~ Okay, here’s the thing with this song. The beginning of the verse, with the girl singing, is really bad. She’s really cracky and bad, but the chorus is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love the chorus, making it still a great remake, besides the verses.
One Word ~ 8/10 ~ Not the best one on the CD, but still a good song.
Someday ~ 10/10 ~ I love this song! It’s beautiful! My third favorite!
Summertime ~ 10/10 ~ My fourth favorite! Great song!
It’s Still Love ~ 10/10 ~ Another great song, and a great closer to the album!
Overall, this CD is amazing, and it’s worth your time to listen to, and even buy. Great CD!!!!!

I bought this album for my daughter because someone described it as the Hannah Montana of Contemporary Christian Music. The album has definitely surpassed my expectations. Pure NRG could definitely hold their own among the likes of Miley Cyrus. Pure NRG has their own sound, their vocals are great; their lyrics are clever and deal with things that kids really deal with and think about. There are some good worship songs on the album, but there are also songs that just talk about life through a Christian perspective. The whole album has an optimistic feel to it.
